Ms. Elkin graduated from Texas A&M University. She started her professional career teaching in the communities of San Antonio and then in second grade at New Frontiers Charter School.
Ms. Elkin loves kids! After teaching second grade, she started her family. When her kids were little, she opened up the doors of her home for a neighborhood Bible study and established the curriculum and teachers for the child care during Bible study. Once her kids were in school, she tutored and substituted for all elementary grades and found preschool to be her favorite! Ms. Elkin joined the OHC Preschool team in 2023 as a teaching assistant.
Ms. Elkin is married to Josh, and they have two daughters and a son. She enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling with her family.
