Baby Blessing Milestone
September 20th, 9 AM - Equipping Class
September 21st, 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 AM - Blessing and Celebration

Baby Blessing is the first Family Milestone, designed to equip, bless, and celebrate parents and their children throughout the infancy and toddler phases of life, and encourage our church body to build relationships and build community. Families with children newborns – age 2 years (at the date of the event) are invited to participate.

The Equipping Class
Parents attend a required equipping class, with breakfast included from 9-11 AM, Saturday prior to the Sunday Blessing Event. OHC Kids Club is available for children 3 months to 5th grade during the Equipping Class. This equipping class focuses on the parent's role as primary spiritual nurturers of their children and how to raise children in a way that honors each child’s uniqueness. Parents are empowered to point their children to God while demonstrating the love of Christ to them. Additionally, parents are prepared for what will occur during the time of blessing.

The Blessing Event
The Blessing is a part of the Worship Service, held in the Worship Center at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 AM. It includes parents making verbal responses to commitments, followed by a time of prayer by our elders. After the blessing, parents and their guests are invited to a reception.

Space is limited, register by September 8th. 

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $15 per child.
