Pathway to Kinder is the second of five Family Milestones. Parents with preschool children entering kindergarten in the fall are invited to a two-fold Milestone event.

Friday Parent Equipping & Blessing (Dinner is included)

The Pathway to Kinder parent equipping workshop provides practical resources in understanding the needs of children in this phase of life. Parents are encouraged and inspired to pray with their children, value the Bible as their guide for living, and discover the significance of blessing their child. Parents will end their time by sharing a personal moment of blessing and prayer with their child.

Sunday Affirmation & Celebration for Pathway to Kinder

Parents are invited onstage with their Pathway to Kinder children during the Sunday worship service for a time of recognition and affirmation. An Oak Hills Church elder gives a charge to the parents and to the congregation. Attendance at the Friday Parent Equipping & Blessing is required to participate in the Affirmation & Celebration on Sunday.

Pre-Pathway to Kinder Classes for Parents

Parents of incoming kindergarten children are invited to participate in a 4-week parent class in preparation for Pathway to Kinder Parent Equipping & Blessing. Bibleland Kids classes are available for children during this time. Classes are Sundays at 10:00 AM in room C206 - April 21, April 28, May 5, and May 12.
