Trip Focus: Distribution of Manos de Cristo (MCD) boxes in Mexico from OHC.

OHC short-term mission teams partner with Reaching Across Ministries, and have extensive relationships with churches and pastors in the Texas / Mexico border region. We serve alongside local pastors in the Ciudad Acuña / Del Rio area. One specific ministry that our team will serve is Missionary Hortencia Pichardo, who serves underprivileged children through her after-school ministry programs.

Trip Itinerary:

December 14 (One-day Mission Trip): Approximate Schedule
6 AM: Depart San Antonio from OHC Campus. Travel in OHC-sponsored passenger vans. The team will eat breakfast en route and then drive across the border into Ciudad Acuña.
10 AM Arrive at Obra de Dios Children's Mission with Missionary Hortencia Pichardo. Children’s Ministry Day includes praise time, Christmas story, crafts/games and distribution of MDC gift boxes. Lunch will be with kids in Acuña before departing back to Del Rio.
2 PM: Arrive at Pastor Juan Meza's Church for praise time, Christmas story, crafts/games and distribution of MDC gift boxes. After refreshments with children, we will depart for San Antonio. Dinner will be on the road.
9 PM: Arrive back at OHC Campus. 

Trip Details:

Trip cost: $100 for 1st family member, $50 for each additional family member. All-inclusive: Meals, transportation, insurance, interpreters, bottled water, and ministry supplies.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner are included, with sandwiches and chips for lunch
