Baby Blessing occurs twice a year in the Worship Center during the 9am service for babies ages birth through 24 months at the time of the event.  Parents attend a required online equipping class held at 12pm on Sunday, February, 7th.  

Parent Class:  12pm Zoom Class 

This class focuses on parents' role as primary spiritual nurturers of their children.  Parents learn how to raise their children in a way that honors the uniqueness of each child.  Parents also learn how to point their children to God and show them the love of Christ.  

The Blessing Ceremony:  9am in the Worship Center

This year, the ceremony will be unique due to COVID-19.  While families are encouraged to attend in-person, they are not required to do so.  The ceremony includes an introduction of each child as well as a congregational prayer led by a member of church leadership during the service.  After the blessing, parents, grandparents, other family and friends are invited to a reception.  During the reception families may take photos in front of the Baby Blessings backdrop and will receive a small gift to commemorate the occasion.  For parents wishing to participate virtually, you may pick up your gift and/or take pictures the week following the ceremony in the church foyer.
